Bruce P. Baganz
Bruce P. Baganz is a successful businessman and civic and educational leader. He is President & CEO of Security Energy Company, concentrating on private oil and gas investments, both domestic and international. An internationally known collector of antique rugs and textiles from the Middle East and Central Asia, Mr. Baganz serves as President of the Board of Trustees of The Textile Museum in Washington, DC, an international center for the exhibition, study, collection and preservation of the textile arts. He is the driving force between the affiliation of The Textile Museum and The George Washington University that will result in in the move to a new museum to be built on the University’s main campus scheduled for 2014. He is also Chairman of the Near Eastern Art Research Center, a foundation established in 1962 to promote scholarship and stewardship in Islamic rugs and textiles, and he serves as a trustee of The George Washington University and is a Member of the Board of Visitors, College of Arts and Sciences, University of South Carolina.
